Cornerstone
Cornerstone Project provides community school buildings, agricultural warehousing, container buildings, solar lighting, and other construction and equipment. Provide a platform for the poor community to improve and assist in the development of public facilities in the early stage, and invest in the most appropriate support for rural women. The community public facilities unite villagers, warehouse preserving agricultural value, classrooms, and solar lighting equipment invest in the future of the community. Help rural women and farmers to face obstacles to their livelihoods.
In addition to fighting weather, diseases, and pests. Farmers still need to face the challenges of rats, time, and other food preservation during the harvest season. Because of the lack of good storage equipment, up to 30% of food is wasted before trading. This will seriously affect the farmers' income. The construction of storage equipment can most directly improve the economic benefits of the countryside.Invest in primary processing equipment to extend food consumption, storage and delivery, and improve food security.
CONTAINER
In Africa, children learn under trees, and residents also gather under trees. The goal of Cornerstone is to establish a community center and also to build and repair school buildings to help the community develop the future.
More than 70% of the population in the countryside has no fundamental home lighting, so we provide simple solar power with microfinance to improve living safety and help children learn.
Using natural building materials is the beginning of environmental protection. We are trying to use various natural materials to renovate classrooms and kitchens, such as clay, sand, stones, straw, etc. So that residents can participate in the construction and innovate the application of their original materials. Starting from architecture, bring knowledge and techniques to remote villages. Continue to work with villagers on the African continent to return the nature-based humane and sustainable spirit of architecture.
